Gar-Field High School has hired a new director of bands this year, Mr. Matthew Gozzard.
Ms. Fraze sent this brief bio/announcement:
After graduating
from the University of Michigan in 2009, and spending two years as a graduate assistant at the University of Toledo earning
his Master's degree in Music Education, Matt Gozzard is thrilled to be the new band director at Gar-Field High School.
Although he has been an active free-lance musician as a saxophonist and bassist for many years, Matt’s first love is
teaching. He
understands that the process of preparing for a performance is where lasting memories are made. Upcoming
Events
Band Festival is this Saturday, March 3rd at Liberty High School in Bealeton,
Virginia. Concert Band is to report at Gar-Field at 7:00 a.m. The Concert Band performance is at 10:00 a.m. Wind Ensemble
is to report at Gar-Field at 1:30 p.m. The Wind Ensemble performance is at 4:30 p.m.
